NORA invites families to An Emerald Evening: Parent-Child Dance — a sparkling, emerald-themed celebration designed for parents and children to enjoy a special night out together.
Doors open at 5:45pm at White Pines Intermediate School, where families will begin the evening with dinner in the cafeteria which will be served until 6:45pm. After dinner, participants will head to the main gym for a beginner-friendly dance lesson led by Ms. Samantha Farrar from Spotlight Dance Academy starting at 7pm giving families plenty of time to enjoy music, movement, and festive emerald-inspired décor. Light refreshments will be served in the gym throughout the evening. The event concludes at 8:00pm.
This event is open to children in grades 1 - 8 and a special adult of their choosing. No dance experience is necessary — just bring your favorite grown-up, dress in your emerald city-inspired best if you’d like, and come ready to dance, laugh, and create lasting memories together.
