NORA’s Youth Archery program offers year-round opportunities for beginners through intermediate-level archers to learn, grow, and have fun in the sport. Our clinics and camps emphasize safety first, with every session reviewing proper shooting techniques and range protocols. In the spring, archers can take their skills to the next level by joining a team that practices together and competes in a tournament on the east side of the state. All programs are under the guidance of USA Archery Certified Instructors and follow the USA Archery curriculum. Thanks to our partnership with the North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club, participants enjoy outdoor shooting as long as the weather allows before moving indoors for winter sessions.
After School Archery - Lake Hills
Looking to try something fun after school on Fridays in November? Join Ms Jackie on the far soccer field at Lake Hills for after school archery. This program is designed for kids in K-4 to give them a taste of archery. Equipment is provided and spectators are welcome as long as they bring their own chairs and stay in designated spectator area. Program meets Fridays, November 6, 13 & 20. We will be outside rain or shine so dress for the weather. If it is a downpour or there is lightning/thunder, we will make a decision by 2pm on cancelation.

Fall Youth Archery - Outdoors
We officially have archery scheduled! We will be outdoors on the archery range just opened Summer 2026 at North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club. Three weeks of fun for grades 1 - 12. Each week, we will do a safety and fundamentals review then do some fun games and challenges to hone our skills and improve. We will get to shoot on flat box targets as well as 3d animal targets. Watch as you improve your scores and challenge yourself over these three weeks. Class will be held on Wednesdays. Click on the registration link for exact class times.
