Join Coach Braydyn in this fun after school running club! You will work together as a team to improve everyone's individual times and fall in love with running. Practices will be after school Tuesdays & Thursdays. We will meet on the track to start/end practices and runners can be picked up there as well.

Fall Mini-Bowling League at Grand Fun! - Fall 2026

Join NORA and Grand Fun for a six-week Fall Mini-Bowling League! Kids in grades 1-4 and older kids in grades 5 - 8 will bowl 2-3 games each week while tracking their scores throughout the season. Participants will build confidence, improve their skills, cheer on their fellow bowlers, and enjoy friendly competition as they work toward end-of-season league awards.

Mini-bowling offers all the excitement of traditional bowling in a kid-friendly format that's easy to learn and fun for all skill levels. Whether your child is trying mini-bowling for the first time or already loves the game, this league is a great way to spend time after school on Mondays this fall!

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US! Part tennis, part ping-pong and played with a wiffle ball, it's a great time! Join our amazing instructors from the Lakeshore Pickleball Club at Mulligan's Hollow to learn how to play pickleball and play matches with friends. White Pines Wednesdays - Bikes & Ice Cream - Fall 2026

White Pines Wednesdays: Bikes & Ice Cream

Spend your Wednesday afternoons exploring Grand Haven by bike with friends! Each week we'll meet in the White Pines Aux Gym before heading out on a guided bike ride to a different local destination. Along the way we'll enjoy parks, trails, geocaching, and of course, ice cream.

Week 1: East End Adventure
We'll bike to East Grand River Park before stopping at Norm's for a sweet treat. Registration includes a small soft serve or hard serve ice cream.

Week 2: Hofma Preserve Adventure
We'll ride to Hofma Preserve, search for a few geocaches, then stop at Skoops on our return trip. Registration includes a small soft serve or hard serve ice cream.

Week 3: Downtown Adventure
We'll bike to downtown Grand Haven and enjoy a small frozen yogurt from Pumphouse before returning to school.

Participants should bring a bicycle, helmet, water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather. Helmets are required for all riders. Need a bike? Let NORA know and we'll do our best to provide one from our bike library.

In the event of rain or unsafe riding conditions, we'll stay at White Pines and work on biking skills through obstacle courses, challenges, and fun riding games in the Auxiliary Gym or on the track.

Ladies - let's hit the trails! 

Join Ms Jackie for some fun trail rides this fall! We will hit three different parks in this session so you can become familiar with the trails and feel more confident on your bike. Whether you're a new trail rider or you rip and ride with the best of them, this will be a fun program for you! Each week, we will ride a few miles on trails getting more comfortable and confident with each ride. The best part about this program is it's all girls so we are here to empower and encourage each other as we adventure. Each week, we will meet from 5pm - 6:15pm. 

Monday 9/28 - Hofma Park (meet by basketball courts)
Monday 10/5 - Bass River Recreation Area (meet in mtn biking staging parking lot on left 1/4 mile from entrance

Monday 10/12 - Rycenga Park (meet by playground/picnic shelter)

Intro to Taekwondo - Fall 2026

Discover the art of Taekwondo through our exciting 6-week recreational introductory class, presented in collaboration with Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy in Grand Haven. Led by skilled LTA instructors, participants will delve into the fundamentals of Taekwondo, focusing on basic techniques, forms, and self-defense maneuvers. 

As the course culminates, attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their newfound skills and dedication, earning an invitation to test for their well-deserved yellow stripe belt—an emblem of their commitment and progress in this empowering martial art. T-shirt included.

Presentational Intro to Tiger Tots visual

Intro to Tiger Tots - Fall 2026

Intro to Tiger Tots is a fun, high-energy introduction to martial arts designed especially for our youngest participants. This 30-minute, once-a-week class focuses on helping children build foundational skills in a positive and encouraging environment. Through age-appropriate activities and games, Tiger Tots learn how to listen to instructors, follow directions, and develop balance, coordination, and self-confidence.

Over the 6-week session, students will be introduced to basic Taekwondo movements while also learning important personal safety concepts. The class wraps up with a special belt test celebration, giving Tiger Tots a chance to show what they’ve learned and feel proud of their accomplishments. This program is a great first step for young children to explore movement, discipline, and confidence—all while having fun.

 

Lead by Ms Alaina Feldpausch from Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy. This class will meet on Fridays from 4:30pm - 5pm at Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy in Grand Haven. Kids will be invited to participate in a belt test on Saturday, November 14 at 9am at LTA.

A Family-Friendly Trick-or-Treat Kayak Adventure

Join NORA and Lakeshore Kayak Rental for a one-of-a-kind fall experience on Lloyd’s Bayou! Families will paddle through calm waters, visit floating pumpkin stations, and collect treats from festively decorated docks. Costumes are encouraged, and all participants will enjoy a cider & doughnut treat after their paddle.

  • Who: Ages 5+for Kayaks (Canoes Available for Families with Younger Children - Ages 5-7 wanting to kayak must paddle tandem with an adult)

No school on a Wednesday? Sweet! Ms Jackie has a fun multi-sport program to fill your day with adventure! 

Geocaches, Wheels & Arrows - we will start out at Hofma Preserve (newer entrance off 168th Ave) where we will ride the trails looking for geocaches. After finding a good number of caches, we will take a break at the picnic shelter at Hofma Preserve and eat lunch. Then, we will ride across the bridge into Hofma Park. From there, we will head out of the parks and over to North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club where we will spend the afternoon shooting archery. Bows and arrows are provided. BYO bike, helmet, lunch, water and snacks. 

Meet up time: 9:45am at Hofma Preserve (168th Ave Parking Lot) 
Pick Up Time: 2pm at North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club (parking lot/clubhouse) 

This program is great for kids in grades 2-9 as long as they can ride 3-4 miles throughout the day (we will always have stops for snacks, water, bathroom breaks and take a big break during lunch). If you need to borrow a bike, please reach out to Jackie Rowland and we can make sure we have one for them. The trails are mostly packed gravel so most kids bikes will work for this ride but training wheels will not work so they must be able to ride a 2-wheeler without assistance.

Join Jackie Rowland for three afternoons of biking and geocaching around the Grand Haven area. Participants will ride local pathways and trails while learning how to use GPS technology and geocaching clues to locate hidden caches.

Along the way we'll explore parks, discover new places, and enjoy the thrill of the hunt as we search for geocaches hidden throughout the community.

Teams are responsible for bringing their own lines and volleyballs.

6 week season

Team Fees

Doubles - $60 per team ($5 per match per player)

Player Non-Resident Fee - $5

Managers are responsible for rosters. Roster invites can be sent via email through team sideline.

Teams may reschedule a game to a different day/time as long as they can find an available court to play on.

2026 Summer (Session 2) Registration - COED Quads

Teams are responsible for bringing their own lines and volleyballs. 

Quads teams should make an effort to have 2 girls and 2 guys on the court at all times. 

First matches - August 12

6 week season

Quads - $120 per team ($5 per match per player)

Player Non-Resident Fee - $5
