NORA offers recreational after school basketball programs for 3rd - 6th graders and challenge league for 7th/8th graders. We offer after school girls basketball in the Fall (October - December) and after school boys' basketball in the Winter (January - March). Look for registrations for these programs approximately 1 month prior to start dates. Volunteer coaches are always welcome for these programs and essential for their success.
Youth Basketball Sweatshirts
Registration for 4th grade and 5th/6th grade basketball sweatshirts. Each sweatshirt will include a last name on the back.

Boys Basketball (4th Grade) - Winter
4th Grade Boys Basketball League - Winter 2026
Join us for this fun after school youth basketball league and play fun games against 4th grade boys from other Grand Haven Area Schools. Practices will be held after school once or twice a week (schedule communicated by team coaches), games are on Monday evenings at either 5:30pm or 6:30pm at White Pines Intermediate School. The season will wrap up with a fun tournament on a Saturday morning at White Pines Intermediate School (date TBD). Registration includes a team jersey.

Join us for this fun after-school house league. All skill levels welcome as we develop foundational basketball skills as well as leadership and teamwork together. All practices will be held at White Pines after school from 4:00pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays. All games will also be held on Tuesdays/Thursdays at White Pines with a short team warm up and then games will begin at 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Spectators welcome for games but practices are closed to spectators.

Our 7th/8th Grade Girls Challenge Team is a competitive, skill-focused team designed for athletes who are passionate about basketball and ready to take their game to the next level. Competing in the Holland Recreation League, we emphasize teamwork, discipline, and development of fundamentals in a positive and supportive environment. Players will build on core skills such as ball-handling, shooting, defense, and game strategy while facing strong competition from local teams. This team is ideal for girls preparing for their middle school seasons.
