June Youth Archery Camps - Summer 2026

Introduce your young archer to the exciting sport of archery in a safe, supportive environment at the North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club. This camp is designed specifically for younger participants and focuses on building confidence while learning proper technique.

Campers will begin the week learning range rules, equipment safety, and the fundamentals of shooting a bow and arrow. Throughout the week, participants will practice on static targets while developing accuracy, focus, and consistency. On Wednesday and Thursday, campers will transition to the 3D range, where they will apply their new skills by shooting at animal-shaped targets in a fun and engaging outdoor setting.

Dates: Monday–Thursday, June 15–18
Location: North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club

All equipment is provided but if campers have their own equipment, they are welcome to bring it. And students will get a cool NORA Youth Archery T-shirt to brag about their week becoming a super archer!

  • What should campers wear?: closed toed shoes are REQUIRED no crocs, no sandals, no flip-flops we will be walking in the woods so clothing that is comfortable for being outdoors plus bug spray and sunscreen are encouraged
  • Does my camper need to bring anything?: All equipment is provided but if they would like to bring water and a snack, they are welcome to do so. If they have their own bow, shooting glove or arm guard and would like to bring them, they are more than welcome to. When we shoot on the 3D range, they should use our arrows just so their arrows don't get lost forever.
